3M VHB Acrylic Foam Tape 4611F is a double adhesive tape with acrylic foam with two layers of 1.1 mm that is used for gluing high energy surfaces such as metals, glass and plastics. The 3M HBV tape is part of the 4611 tape family; each product in this family has general purpose acrylic adhesive, but varies in thickness.

Descriere

It can successfully replace mechanical fasteners (rivets, screws, welds) or liquid adhesives.
It is resistant to high temperatures.
Creates a permanent seal against water, moisture, etc.
Immediate resistance to handling.
The ideal application temperature should be between 21 - 38 grdC. It is recommended that the minimum application temperature does not fall below 10 grdC.
Bonding can be obtained more quickly by exposing the bond to high temperatures (for example at 66 grdC for one hour).
